CMYK Colors
CMYK (or Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black) is a color model that is typically used for the traditional, lithographic printing of brochures, posters, catalogs, etc. Most commercial and desktop printing equipment supports this model, but it has many limitations for color gamut (range) and many brighter colors cannot be reproduced using this method.
Nevertheless, some people use this color model to describe their desired color because they are already using the same color model for other printing projects. To use this color model, simply enter whole-number values between 0 and 100 (this is %), in increments of 25, e.g., (0, 25, 0, 0) or (50, 25, 75, 0) or (20, 0, 50, 25), etc. |
