FedEx uses the "Company Name" field to determine what type of delivery to complete. Commercial locations receive Ground deliveries Monday through Friday, while Residential locations receive Ground deliveries Tuesday through Saturday.
FedEx charges more for delivery to Residential locations. Try to schedule delivery to a verifiable Commercial address to save.
With
our shopping cart you can choose an exact delivery date for each of
your shipments. So for FedEx Ground delivery, we need to know
whether to offer Mondays or Saturdays as the fifth-possible delivery
day in a given week. We cannot offer both options for any one recipient based on these FedEx Ground delivery guidelines.
Some addresses require non-FedEx delivery, i.e., UPS, USPS or some other courier. In these cases, we may offer both Monday and Saturday delivery options.
